It is in OBS already, in network:telephony as you quote. It was removed from Factory due to the amounts of security updates it requires. Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Was the removal before or after the official release of 1.6.2 ? I know that there were quite a number of release candidates, but since 18th of december the amount of updates should be minimal.... I think marcus refers to security updates over the 2 years we maintain an opensuse release. darix -- openSUSE - SUSE Linux is my linux openSUSE is good for you www.opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

There are issues with those packages -- with a kernel update the package that has the kenel drivers is not updated automatically (or the OBS does not build the new packages in time?) requiring you to go into yast and doing an update of the package containing the kernel driver manually. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Thats why we provide openSUSE_xx+Updates repos to build against. Use this if you are building KMPs. And the KMPs only need to be updated when we change the kabi ... which we try not to.
