[opensuse-factory] How do I download/access sources?
Howdy all! I'm trying to browse the PackageKit sources but I'm having some trouble. I'm on this page: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/GNOME:Factory/PackageKit?rev=287 but the "Download" button for the PackageKit-1.1.5.tar.xz file doesn't do anything; the page just reloads in place, with nothing changed or downloaded. This reproduces on multiple web browsers. I'm using Tumbleweed with KDE and everything is fully up to date. What am I doing wrong? Public. So you need to be logged in to download things? Nate On 03/31/2017 08:50 AM, Bruno Friedmann wrote:

Small files are always downloadable in the OBS sources view, large files (>1MB?) only after login. Full sources are always downloadable as .src.rpms from the published repository. Seems to be true I don't know if that is a bug or a feature. Greg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

As a workaround you can directly talk to the api: Instead of fetching the file from https://build.opensuse.org/source/GNOME:Factory/PackageKit/PackageKit-1.1.5.... you can use https://api.opensuse.org/public/source/GNOME:Factory/PackageKit/PackageKit-1...
