[opensuse-factory] where do i get pgp/gpg key 0xa29f6635 ?
its not on any keyservers nor anywhere on the web. i dont find no such key kernel-pae-extra-2.6.27.8-11.1.i586.rpm: (SHA1) DSA sha1 md5 (GPG) NOT OK (MISSING KEYS: GPG#a29f6635) kernel-pae-2.6.27.8-11.1.i586.rpm: (SHA1) DSA sha1 md5 (GPG) NOT OK (MISSING KEYS: GPG#a29f6635) kernel-pae-base-2.6.27.8-11.1.i586.rpm: (SHA1) DSA sha1 md5 (GPG) NOT OK (MISSING KEYS: GPG#a29f6635) these files http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Kernel:/SL111_BRANCH/openSUSE_11.1... all come with the signature of that key. where does it come from? why was it never uploaded to the keyservers or posted anywhere. an opensuse 11.1 system cant verify that key. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

The answer is always: The key is in ..../repodata/repomd.xml.key Regards, Christian Boltz --

thanks for the reply. still wonder how hard it can be to upload keys to the established distributed keyserver infrastructure. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

You can do it yourself. We did not want to upload all keys we generate, which is in the thousands. Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

too bad. fail to understand why not. is this another potential "reply to the mailing list"-like discussion and why not fixing it? ;) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
