[opensuse-factory] Issues with software selection dialog during installation
Hello, during the installation of RC1 I intended to change the software selection. Entering the dialog I found that disk usage is always displayed to be 0%, even after checking additional patterns. Is this a known issue? Furthermore, I noticed that after clicking on additional patterns it takes quite some time until finally the checkmark is displayed. I find this lag somewhat annoying, since at first I thought that my click had not been recognised correctly. I don't see an open bug on this issue. However, I am not an expert. I would wait a few days to see if anyone else responds and then open a bug report at bugzilla.novell.com. bug 395051?
Yes, it appears to be the issue I encountered. I had not found it in Bugzilla because I searched for the wrong words. Yes, this effect is highly disturbing. On the first sight, I blamed it on the install time environment, but the delay persists also for any call to yast2 sw_single later on. Anybody care to explain the technical reasons (simplified) for this annoyance?
