Hi Roger,
Problem: chromium-desktop-kde-17.0.922.0-1.1.2.i586 conflicts with chromium- desktop-gnome provided by chromium-desktop-gnome-17.0.922.0-1.1.2.i586 Solution 1: deinstallation of chromium-desktop-gnome-17.0.922.0-1.1.2.i586 Solution 2: do not install chromium-desktop-kde-17.0.922.0-1.1.2.i586
These two packages are correctly conflicting with eachother. They are controlling the way that Chromium handles the passwords. It can store it in kwallet (provided by chromium-desktop-kde), gnome-key-ring (provided by chromium-desktop-gnome) and as default somewhere with the configuration files (provided by the standard package). So one should be selected and this is also indicated in the package description (afaik). Raymond Ah, ok. Makes sense then. Thank you! Thought it was mispackaged somehow. -- Roger Luedecke openSUSE Ambassador Ind.
