[opensuse-factory] xterm and console output mangled after update 13.2->LEAP
Hi, after updating my system form openSUSE 13.2 to LEAP 42.1 I'm experiencing weird output problems, both on the text console and in xterm: Console: systemd messages which were just updated in 13.2, e.g. when starting wicked and updating the seconds the job was already active, now are printed repeatedly without newline in between. Same for fsck messages: the percent finished isn't updated in place, but printed as if '\r' wouldn't be present in the message. xterm: vi started in xterm isn't deleting old screen contents when I'm using ctrl-F or ctrl-B. Same applies when I'm deleting characters in the middle of a line: the line content is updated, but the character at the end of the line isn't replaced by a space, resulting in a repetition of the last character on the screen. Anyone else who can confirm this? Any idea how to repair? I can confirm issues with display of text in the console ( the installer doesn't show a percentage counter for the KDE images ),
Any idea how to repair?
