That are not the Question ;) I know packman, but my question is, why is mad in the SUSE packet dependence for xine packet and no packet mad is over there? -- mit freundlichen Grüßen / best Regards, Günther J. Niederwimmer

If the package isn't available, it is a bug. So the correct answer is "file a bug report" - http://bugs.opensuse.org Regards, Christian Boltz -- Thema: Selbsthilfegruppe Linux für Nicht-Informatiker "In der ersten Sitzung wird besprochen: 'Hilfe, ich habe ein Handbuch gelesen, statt Informatik zu studieren ... und... No, the package is for MPEG audio support and this was intentionally left out for legal reasons as you might remember. Robert -- Robert Schiele Tel.: +49-621-181-2214 Dipl.-Wirtsch.informatiker mailto:rschiele@uni-mannheim.de "Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum sonatur."

Then it shouldn't be needed for rebuilding xine... The bug is not "missing package", but "broken dependency". Regards, Christian Boltz -- Evolution ist ein echter Outlook-Clone - es kopiert saemtliche Fehler. [Thomas Hertweck in suse-linux]
