[opensuse-factory] New packages: Salt, Salt-api, Salt-cloud and apache-libcloud

Hi I created saltstack salt, salt-api and salt-cloud packages. Saltstack is a configuration management/remote execution system based on zeromq and python. It is very fast and lightweight and can handle servers in their thousands. It will be a great addition to puppet/cfengine/chef/ansible packages, to have some choice. The packages are already in devel:languages:python and the only depency not met in factory is python-apache-libcloud. This package is also build in devel:languages:python. I have spoken with both upstream developers, of saltstack and apache-libcloud and they don't mind if I package these for opensuse/suse/sles/sled. Hi all, I have 2 questions still. 1) To see why a package was dropped I try: osc log -D openSUSE:Dropped $removed_package but this shows only an empty changelog for me. Does that mean I didn't use the correct command or was the reason just not logged? 2) I have a few icon/cursor/kwin etc themes lying around as rpm's. [opensuse-factory] New groff package split (groff, groff-full)

Hi community, altough groff is quite boring package, it is essential part of each GNU like system. In SUSE we have had an issue that some of parts were not built with all needed dependencies, so they did not properly worked. The point of a groff is that as a manual pages renderer, it is a part of Base:build, so no new dependencies should be added in to make bootstrapping possible. Therefor I've took Debian's approach and made * groff package: stripped down version with fonts and suitable for manual pages * groff-full: recommended by (basic) groff provides the rest of cool things like grohtml, or pdf backends This (including an update to 1.22.2) has been submitted to M17N and any testing before reaching Factory would be welcome. I think I also became a bit less tolerant when my last dog died about 15 months ago...still depressing. Hello all, i have identified problem with wine in tumbleweed (and crossover wine is impacted by it too). Version of fontconfig that is now in tumbleweed breaks wine with very interesting error $ winecfg err:module:attach_process_dlls "gdi32.dll" failed to initialize, aborting err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C:\\windows\\system32\\winecfg.exe" failed, status c0000005 after reverting to "12.3" version of fontconfig libraries system behaves correctly in system wine and in crossover version. Of course crossover response to this problem is very interesting too...: ---------------- We have dropped support for OpenSuse 12.x in Crossover 12.x due to the constantly changing and mismatched libraries that distro maintains.
