[opensuse-factory] VPN and NetworkManager in oS11.4 - Ping Will S.?

I've bumped into this bug: http://bugs.kde.org/262555 in the NetworkManager - basically the short of it is, you can't connect to VPNs using NetworkManager. According to the bug report, the patch was applied at least 3 weeks ago. A workaround is to use KVPNC. I've poked the repositories and found that there might be a newer build of NetworkManager available in Factory, but I'm not 100% sure which one is the right one. I don't want to mix/match repos too much if I can help it, but I would like to get this part of NetworkManager working. Will, I see your name against the newer (?) Factory builds of NetworkManger... do you know if they include the patch/bug fix from the upstream bug report? The files in question are found in: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Unstable:/Playground/openSUS… and http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Unstable:/SC/openSUSE_Factory and http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Unstable:/Playground/openSUS… Which is the "right" repo to use here if I want the latest NetworkManager plasmoid? [opensuse-factory] Is CodeAnalyst maintained?

I found CodeAnalyst looking at the list of packages that fails to build with 4.6. I had no idea it was in Factory. But looking at it I see it's version 2.8.54 when the latest upstream version is "2_12_3_0126". And the changelog hasn't been updated since January 2010. Changelog with only three entries, from three different packagers. So... is the CodeAnalyst package unmaintained? [opensuse-factory] patch2mail - include package updates by default?

Hello, I'm working on patch2mail to allow including of updated packages (not only patches) in the mail listing available updates. Given that kpackagekit in 11.4 by default displays both patches and package updates, I tend to make this the default for patch2mail. What do you think? Makes sense? Objections? The behaviour will be configurable in /etc/sysconfig/patch2mail in the PATCHES_ONLY setting. Note: this change only affects openSUSE > 11.4 as long as you stick to the OSS repo. Test packages that include package updates in the notification mail will be available in home:cboltz in some minutes. [opensuse-factory] Can you add a flash-player that is 64-bit

Hello all, Is there a chance that some one can add a flash-player that is 64-bit instead of 32-bit. I'm running 64-bit. However, every time I ask Yast to install a flash-player, I keep getting the i586 flash-player. I downloaded the DVD_X86_64. Cheers! Saw this on all of the distro home pages except for Gentoo. A very intriguing idea "The Canterbury Distribution We are pleased to announce the birth of the Canterbury distribution. Canterbury is a merge of the efforts of the community distributions formerly known as Debian, Gentoo, Grml, openSUSE and Arch Linux.
