Hi! Which is the better gcc version to build fglrx? But I am just spreading out the issue for the moment :-) After latest upgrade to M5, I noticed that something gone broken with PolicyKit, since I see an error whenever I try to install Sun VBox Addons. The Addon ISO is not mounted and PolicyKit error comes out. Switching to IceWM resolves the problem, and there is possible to mount and install the addons. So evidently the problem is related to Gnome desktop which unluckily is my favourite. [opensuse-factory] Gnome logs out instead shutdown/reboot in M6

Hi all. According to bug 531538 - I cannot shutdown or restart my system, i checked gnome-session package in M6. otuput rpm -q gnome-session is: gnome-session-2.27.5-3.2 output rpm -q --changelog gnome-session: * Št aug 06 2009 vuntz(a)novell.com - Add gnome-session-polkit1.patch to fix reboot/shutdown options being disabled. - Remove PolicyKit-gnome-devel BuildRequires. * Št aug 06 2009 vuntz(a)novell.com - Change Recommends to Requires for gnome-panel, gnome-settings-daemon, metacity and nautilus. This should fix the problem of people seeing an empty GNOME session if they only have gnome-session installed. Fix bnc#523774. But i'm not still able to shutdown/reboot my computer. Bug seems to be still not fixed. Computer logs out instead shutdown/reboot. How is your experience? Hi I can still confirm this issue with colors for vlc-1.0.1-2.19, in Milestone 6. And wmv files lag. Hey open SuSE Group; Missing in MS6 and or not working. As a "User" 1. Yast2 is missing Apache2 setup in Yast2>Network Services. (as root) 2. Kmix will not even come up. Likely due to KDE reporting a problem with phonon and pulse. Yast2 > Hardware > Sound works fine however, KDE4 fails in Configure Desktop > Multimedia in both NVidia nForce2 with ALC650F (NVidia nForce2) and PulseAudio under "Test" with xine back end. 3 Amarok works correctly but no sound. A very fresh DVD load of MIlestone 6 is again failing just like Milestone 5 to play audio. KDE4 is complaining about something that come on the screen and last about 5 seconds. It needs to stay on the screen longer. I think it is stating something about phonon and pulse having problems. So if has something to do with alsa - the error message is to short. A check of with yast2 shows all of both are installed. Yast2 Hardware Sound proves it the sound is working. But again KDE refuses to play any audio. KMIX will not even come up. However, good news Amarok seems to work.
