It doesn't matter which way I get to www.gateway.gov.uk I get the "wrong browser" problem. what's this "digital certificates" thing?
It appears to be looking at the user agent string in the browser. (If it appears to be MS IE running under some version of Windows the it lets you in.) Anyway if you go direct to https://secure.gateway.gov.uk/ then it'll work fine. -- Mark Evans St. Peter's CofE High School Phone: +44 1392 204764 X109 Fax: +44 1392 204763

Not from here (Netscape4.7.5/Linux2.2.17), even when I accept all their cookies - the same from lynx. They are *explicitly* screening out non-MS users. I wonder if we're still allowed to vote? :-( Richard ------------------------------- This mail was sent using ecmail

Works find here with Netscape. Setting Konquerer up with an MSIE user agent works fine, ever through the front page. (Or at least it does now, won't work after tomorrow most likely.)

The name and version number of your browser is displayed. ____________________________________ Giles Nunn - Network Manager Carms Schools ICT Development Centre Tel: +44 01239 710662 Fax: 710985 ____________________________________
