Hello everyone, I don't know how experience all of you are (I am not experienced, so keep it nice and easy) so I will ask a question that someone will know the answer to I hope. My Suse network and NT network can and do talk to each other. I would now like to know if it is possible to do drive mapping between the two systems. I have a dir of files on NT that I would like to have mapped so that suse could pick them up and edit them. Any Ideas. James

To answer more fully: samba running on Linux enables windows machines to see directories on the Linux machine. smbclient running on Linux enables Linux to see shares on Windows machines. www.samba.org is a good place to read up on this as well as in /usr/doc/packages/samba On Tue, 8 Feb 2000, SCOTT wrote:
