RH8 normally translates as "this is what it's been tested on". Rarely had a problem getting anything to work with SuSE 9.2 (honourable exceptions being CrossOver Office and Cedega, which is kernel related), regardless of the RH8 or other listed requirements.
 
I could try asking "on behalf of a customer" as this can sometimes get further information out of companies. I'd need some contact details though!
