Hi Henne, should be possible to turn off a Reply-To: hermes@opensuse.org in e-mails sended by hermes to opensuse-contrib ML? I'm asking because I have forgotted many times to use L (reply to list) instead of normal R(eply) button in ma e- mail client :-), so hermes got many my e-mails. Yeah, that would be nice. I think I spammed many last night including poor hermes :) Stephen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

I absolutely agree that this makes no sense. The email already has everything it needs to be valid. I guess the Return-Path is set because the Hermes developer thinks that it is needed. Which is wrong. But i don't develop Hermes, please bugreport it there :) Henne -- Henne Vogelsang, openSUSE. OK, I supposed, that this should be turn off in configuration, or somewhere else. So here's the bug: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=458700 MV -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

If you're using Thunderbird, then if you want to send replies to such e-maila to a mailing list, then "Reply to list" extension is your friend. I know it is a workaround, but does its job well ;) . [1] [1] Especially when replying to an e-mail from openSUSE's mailing list, where I needed to click "Reply all" and move list's address from "CC:" to "To:" and remove someones e-mail from "To:". -- Best regards, Jakub 'Livio' Rusinek http://jakubrusinek.pl/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

It crashes on 64 bit, was useless for me. -- "We have art in order not to die of the truth" - Friedrich Nietzsche Cristian Rodríguez R. Platform/OpenSUSE - Core Services SUSE LINUX Products GmbH Research & Development http://www.opensuse.org/

I considered Kmail as a better e-mail client (not only) for MLs and also much better integrated to the rest of the KDE, but thanks :) MV -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org
