[opensuse-buildservice] Critique on those in-charge of Factory (Fwd: [obs sr 42364] openSUSE:Factory/prtconf: declined by autobuild)
What sort of joke is this? SPARC contributions have been accepted before, and now suddenly they are not? Going to reject anything non-x86 too in future? I don't get that at all. I can't even tell who made that strange decision, since it only says "by autobuild". ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Sun, 25 Jul 2010 11:03:05 From: hermes@opensuse.org Reply-To: unknown@opensuse.org To: jengelh@medozas.de Subject: [obs submit-request 42364] openSUSE:Factory/prtconf: declined by autobuild State of submit-request #42364 was changed by autobuild: new -> declined Comment: What's the sense of submitting a package to openSUSE:Factory that has ExclusiveArch: %sparc set? https://build.opensuse.org/request/diff/42364 Source project: Base:System package: prtconf revision: 1 Target: project: openSUSE:Factory package: prtconf -- Hermes messaging (http://hermes.opensuse.org) openSUSE Build Service (https://build.opensuse.org/) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Coolo, what do you think? Should it get resubmitted? Jan, since we're not building on OBS for Sparc at all, at first glance it might not make sense - but I think it cannot harm either, so would be fine with including it... Autobuild (as in, the software) must have a username somehow, just add it into the OBS commit message.
