[opensuse-buildservice] Error: Package obs-service-format-spec-file is required for this operation
Hi, I first osc co a package from OBS server, then when I try osc service localrun format-spec-file, it tells me the message above. But of course I have that package from Tools repository, the same version as other obs & osc package. so what happened to that package 0.4.1-97.1? anyone in the same situation? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

I have a similar situation, although I don't have the package (doing it from debian, with debian's osc), and instead of localrun I'm trying to do "osc ci" in my own branch of a Factory package. I don't think I have to say how annoying this is ;-) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

For future reference, "osc ci --noservice" is a nice workaround if you're committing to your branch :) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

s/format-spec-file/format_spec_file/ And I don't see any "localrun" in the documentation. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Hi, format_spec_file works, seems to be command change. osc service localrun format_spec_file is a command I met before. when you use a no legal head spec to local build, it will tell such advice. I can't find it in documentations either. but it works. It formats you spec locally. even there's no real package on OBS server. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org
