AW: [opensuse-buildservice] NagiosQL: Start new project outside of my home
Hi, NagiosQL works with Nagios 3, because the syntax of the configuration file is still compatible. At the moment the current version of NagiosQL is not using the new features introduced in Nagios 3, but it won't break anything. To say it clear: NagiosQL generated configuration files are still compatible with Nagios 3. Support for the new features will be added with NagiosQL 3 which is currently in early development stages. Okay, so is joining the server:monitoring project fine with you or do you prefer an own project for some reason ? bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) email: adrian@suse.de --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

As designated package maintainer for NagiosQL I would say OK if ... Would it be possible to make modifications to nagios package ? because NagiosQL needs write access to /etc/nagios. Or should we first build it at home:rhomann and import it later to server:monitoring.

Okay, I have added you to that project (since Thomas agreed on that, but he is not online today). Please, somebody should fill the description field of that project. Rouven, you might want to set an explicit bugowner in your package inside of the project. Otherwise all bugreports from the project would go to Thomas. bye adrian

Aye, the distributed package maintainer will be chris (computersalat). If you need an email address regarding bugs reports please use bugs@nagiosql.org or even better if possible add a link to our bugtracking system http://www.nagiosql.org/index.php/bugtracker. I am currently working on the mail to mantis interface ;-) Where to change the description field and to see the results?
