[opensuse-buildservice] Build Team Meeting
present: mls, lrupp, cwh, adrian, coolo Topics: * Status round * 2.0 Release * person information via api Status round ============ cwh: * testing of kiwi package with DuD was good so far AI: cwh submit it to openSUSE:Tools to verify that it does not break product building coolo: * deployed new webui 2.0 on build.opensuse.org new bugs got discovered (not found in stage area) and fixed * Prepared project priorities for new dispatcher based download statistics * configured google crawler for build.opensuse.org Google indexing seems to be slooowwwww ..... mls: * Wrote rewritten dispatcher, working on speed ups of new code - New dispatcher takes account about used former build times. - Jobs get prefered if the trigger reason was a source change - The repository priority list of build.opensuse.org gets created based on download statistics now. lrupp: * moved source server on temporary disk space, we will need another maintenance downtime for the sync on the final place. adrian: * source services are finally running at build.opensuse.org Only default services (download_url and verify_file) are available atm. osc add $URL of upcoming osc 0.127 is creating a _service file to let the server downloading and verifing the file. osc is executing the services also locally for build or on checkout and update. The webui "download file" functionality still needs to be adapted for this. * Build new OBS snapshots in openSUSE:Tools:Unstable * working on person controller of api. tschmidt: * fixed webui issue with chromium browser 2.0 Release Status ================== * 2.0 Beta 1 is to be released end of this week. * ACL read access control code is awaited for master branch till thursday from LinuxFoundation Otherwise we will live with a temporary fork of OBS MeeGo and OBS 2.0, to be merged for OBS 2.1 afterwards. * New webui has the usebility issue that users might not notice that they get logged out after some time. * The lack of the dashboard for the "My links" is noticable but something for after 2.0. * Behaviour of status popups of requests are not working good enough. Current idea is to prepare a "request status" in api to detect problems and show this via a red/green light on the webui. Details would shown on click. person information controller ============================= The watchlist will only be shown to the user and to the admin for privacy reasons. global roles will be visible to allow esp. the webui to show more control elements to the Admin. Not working person api calls like _watchlist will get removed. -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH email: adrian@suse.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
