[opensuse-buildservice] Create package for binaries
Hi, I don't know if it is possible but I have a compiled app, only executable, dll and language files (it's a mono app) and I want to create deb and rpm packages for fedora, ubuntu and other distros. Can I do this with opensuse build system? I just want to check for dependencies and install my app (already compiled as I said). If it is possible... do you know any example? Thanks in advance. Technically it's easy (just copy the binaries to %buildroot), but AFAIK only opensource stuff is permitted in the buildservice currently. Yes, there are some. You should take a look on http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/26/dist/50/size/6162391/name/openproj-0... Its the Java software, but in PCLinuxOS is distributed from compiled binaries, not compiled from source during build. BTW: in OpenSUSE there are some repackaged binaries too, but the specs of RealPlayer, or java are not easy to read :-) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
