[opensuse-buildservice] Old kernel in sles9 environment
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all - I just added the OCFS2 1.2.5 KMP package to the build service for use with sles9. Unfortunately, the build has failed due to missing include/linux/debugfs.h. It seems the kernel in the build environment is only 2.6.5-7.244 rather than the current 2.6.5-7.283. Is there any way we can get that updated? - -Jeff - -- Jeff Mahoney SUSE Labs -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGI+UaLPWxlyuTD7IRAo54AJ9yjCAfNjepVFz4ZBxkOYmnhAnqfwCcDn1U raJLqAYDY1xQUIsE3CJGwiE= =6qGB -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
Hi all. I'd like to create a dir into the buildroot PATH by using the output of a variable. Let me explain. Imagine something like: perl=`rpm -q --queryformat='%{VERSION}' perl` Then: echo $perl 5.8.8 So the point really is, I'd like to do something like: mkdir -p $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/`echo $perl` In orded to create the directory, calling it as the perl version installed in the system. Is that possible? Any ideas will be really appreaciated. All the best. Manuel. -- Manuel Arostegui Ramirez. Imagine something like:
perl=`rpm -q --queryformat='%{VERSION}' perl` %define perl %(rpm -q --queryformat='%{VERSION}' perl)
(see also %perl_version and grep '%perl' /usr/lib/rpm/macros)
So the point really is, I'd like to do something like: mkdir -p $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/`echo $perl` mkdir -p $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/%{perl}

yes. what is the real path you want to create? there are other macros for various paths of the perl dir structure most likely you want %perl_vendorarch or %perl_vendorlib? hope this helps, darix -- openSUSE - SUSE Linux is my linux openSUSE is good for you www.opensuse.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
