[opensuse-buildservice] RPMLINT reports "invalid-license GPLv3+"
Hi. There are two warnings in the RPMLINT output for a package I've created, but according to the list that the link suggest that is a valid licence. By the way, the link is incorrect because there is nothing there but a link to the real page. Indeed there is a clear warning "CAUTION: The mapping engine below is outdated, it shows the old syntax." Greetings. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

As shown at http://spdx.org/licenses/ That is main source of license tokens, although there are others that are accepted. (e. public domain licenses are not in that list) Greg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

license.opensuse.org has a link to the google document we use to track our license entries. The link seems to be hidden to most viewers though as it's in the 2nd line :) Greetings, Stephan -- Ma muaß weiterkämpfen, kämpfen bis zum Umfalln, a wenn die ganze Welt an Arsch offen hat, oder grad deswegn. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Use "GPL-3.0+". You can look up the correct license strings here: http://spdx.org/licenses/ HTH, -dnh -- New, from IKEA: DARCKENSE, the chair. Available in white only.
