[opensuse-buildservice] RAM issue
Hi, I quite new to this service. Though I have to admit I do like it. I have build some varnish rpm for centos 5. For some strange reason it build well yesterday and now I get some strange errors about not enough memory when doing tests. Does anyone have a clue or can add additional information? What is the ram limit of those xen VMs? -------------------- #### v1 debug| storage_file: filename: ./varnish.g6ljZn (unlinked) size 7563 MB.\n #### v1 debug| Using old SHMFILE\n #### v1 debug| Notice: locking SHMFILE in core failed: Cannot allocate memory\n #### v1 debug| Debugging mode, enter "start" to start child\n --------------------- Best regards, Björn Dieding -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Most of them have usually 768MB ram.

Most of them have usually 768MB ram.
So does the amount of RAM vary from VM to VM of the same arch or is there a burst mode so that the RAM of the VM could vary between 768MB and x? Else I could not explain that error. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

it varies between 768 - 1.6GB IIRC -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH email: adrian@suse.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
Hi, just to an update on this issue. Now the build runs 100% fine again without changing the spec file. Strange...
