[opensuse-buildservice] cpio fatal error?
Hi all, I'm running into a serious error that's failing all my builds with the openSUSE.org:Fedora:13 repository When build tries to unpack the first package after preinstall, it gives me "cpio: Bad magic". Did anything happen? -- later, Robert Xu -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org
Check your prjconf to ensure that it matches the opensuse.org prjconf. There are some new PreInstall: requirements for fedora 13, which I dont fully remember atm. What is happening is that you dont have the necessary either compression or hashing libs installed and it cant check the hash of the rpm payload. -- Michael ________________________________________ From: Robert Xu [robxu9@gmail.com] Sent: Wednesday, August 11, 2010 2:23 PM To: opensuse-buildservice@opensuse.org Subject: [opensuse-buildservice] cpio fatal error? I'm pretty sure it was one of nss-softokn-freebl or nss-softokn which was missing when I debugged this in my config. -- Michael ________________________________________ From: Brown, Michael E Sent: Wednesday, August 11, 2010 2:25 PM To: robxu9@gmail.com; opensuse-buildservice@opensuse.org Subject: RE: [opensuse-buildservice] cpio fatal error? Yeah, it's that, but it's when that was added was when I started
having problems.
Anyone have an old version of the config BEFORE they added the change?

I'm getting "cpio: fatal error" and all my builds are stalled/failed now.
Can someone fix this problem?

Sorry, but the builds for Fedora:13 are still working on build.o.o. So it must be something on your side, prjconf or incompatible packages in your repo. You will need to debug this on your host. bye adrian
