I think we now have too many and too strong workers: Host Arch Packages in waiting queue Packages in blocked queue Average Job time armv5el 41 45 about 3 hours armv7l 394 506 about 4 hours i586 0 6564 13 minutes ia64 1 - - local 0 5 27 minutes ppc 2083 6872 about 10 hours ppc64 1012 6628 about 7 hours x86_64 0 7892 12 minutes i586 and x86_64 has no packages in the waiting queue... The blocked ones are a bit odd though: it could be that they are really waiting for one of the few packages currently being processed.. or that the schedulers are just not fast enough in finding tasks anymore... Cool.. I had a loook at the list of running builds but did not consider some home:* causing such an extensive long blocked list... but int his case, indeed: there are > 5000 blocked packages in this project alone.. So yes: I would say it's real: we have sufficient build power to cope with current demands.. I think it's been a while since we've seen this happen. Glenn, You should change the view to "month" and look at the # of active workers. I think that will explain what is going on with x86 builds. Also, if you look at all the physical servers named "cloud*", that I assume is the new server rack that SUSE donated to the build farm.
