https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=799510 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=799510#c0 Summary: home:john_hunt/ffcs: Bug Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: huntj@gmx.us ReportedBy: huntj@gmx.us QAContact: adrian@suse.com Found By: Third Party Developer/Partner Blocker: --- The build result is marked as "failed", and the "download build log" yield an old build log, from . but The build is fine locally, rpm is produced, looks fine in the Live Build Log for Package ffcs (Project home:john_hunt). I tried to commit again, to retrigger the build, to no avail. Search yielded a similar case with an update problem; is it the case here ? I changed the repositories with the web interface while committing changes from my local copy. Could it be related ? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

--- Comment #2 from John Hunt
The build test failing at the end after creating the rpms, complaining about bad code which could create security problems. It will fail in the same way with an osc local build.
The only way is to fix the code (or to disable the checks, but the package should not submitted to official projects then).
Thank you for this explanation, which will be useful. But in-between I did - remove the build flags for all repository (ie all disabled) - new commit - enable all the repository Then the x86-64 build log was new (not from friday anymore) This is the build log you saw. The three steps given above seem to be a good workaround. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
