[Bug 365504] New: OEMBOOT Image Deployment expects at least 50 MB of disk space for swap and fails if the space available is less
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=365504 Summary: OEMBOOT Image Deployment expects at least 50 MB of disk space for swap and fails if the space available is less Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: System Imaging AssignedTo: ms@novell.com ReportedBy: ragupta@novell.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- I am trying to create a "split" type "oemboot" image. By default this image requires a Swap partition of at least 50 MB. Because of this my image runs out of disk space during the 2nd stage of deployment. I have a 512 MB Flash Disk and the disk ussage of various partitions is as follows kiwiboot - 31 MB RO partition - 376 MB RW partition - 101 MB. This leaves only 4 MB of space for the SWAP partition whereas the image asks for at least 50 MB of swap space. I tried using OEM_SWAPSIZE in "config.oempartition" to control the SWAP size but this seems to be ineffective. I need to find a way to be able to configure the size of either the RO, RW or SWAP partitions to get the image to fit into 512 MB. Note: The same image when deployed using "netboot" works fine on 512 MB Flash Disk. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
