[Bug 414157] New: rt73usb wifi network card looses connectivity
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=414157 Summary: rt73usb wifi network card looses connectivity Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jeremy.figgins@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- A few hours after my computer has been on, I will lose connectivity. ifconfig and iwconfig still show the card as connected, but I'm unable to ping the router. This seems to occur if the CPU and the network card are both under high utilization (but, it might just be coincidental). If I attempt a "ifdown wlan0" I get a kernel panic with the caps lock and scroll lock lights on my keyboard flashing (but num lock doesn't). After I lose connectivity, I start getting the following two lines repeated over and over in /var/log/messages: Aug 1 08:22:50 linux-f28c kernel: phy0 -> rt2x00usb_write_tx_data: Error - Arrived at non-free entry in the non-full queue 2. Aug 1 08:22:50 linux-f28c kernel: Please file bug report to http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com. I am using the rt73usb driver on a fully patched 64-bit AMD OpenSUSE 11.0 system. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
