From bug 205080, comment #3: It would be helpful if you enabled zmd debug messages with 'rug set log-level debug' and restart zmd (so I can see what helpers run and when) and also paste the command line output starting with 'rug in' and containing all messages from rug.
Please attach /var/log/zmd*.log and /var/lib/zmd/ as tarball - if possible with debugging enabled. BTW: What package management version do you use? Just updated everyting using Yast. Even that is trublesome at the moment: -remove source -add source again so source is refreshed (that's broken ATM) -go fast to Yast sw-single and update packages....Otherwise it can't find them anymore. Will post debug-information as soon I need a programm (won't take long). Please postpone all further testing until the fixed libzypp-zmd-backend appears in Factory. All further testing without this fix is pointless and confusing.
