From /var/log/wpa_suppicant:
1212071689.852736: EAP-PEAP: Failed to select forced PEAP version 1 It seems like the forced peap-version (1) does not match the peap-version the accesspoint is expecting. Joe, did you select that peap-version in th UI or did NM pick it up by itself? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

NM doesn't have a default peap version. Whatever is selected in the applet's peap version combo box is used by NM.
And what is selected in the combo box per default? Is there an entry like "Auto"? At least wpa_supplicant will use the highest version supported on both sides if no version is specified. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

There's a "Peap Version" combo box in the authentication dialog containing "Version 0" and "Version 1". Select "Version 0".
Still not connecting. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Have you already tried the connection (with peap version set to 0 or course) with a freshly booted system?

Everything up to comment #29 is about WPA password and then it says "VPN". Was that a typo and you still meant WPA password?
No, it was a general comment that the VPN section of NetworkManager is having the same issue. Ever since openSUSE 11.0, any part of NetwareManager that uses some sort of password store within gnome, is no longer working. I was just trying to point to the fact that this might be more of a global issue with NetworkManager not properly using the gnome password store. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
