For example, when parsing this config entry: service talk { flags = IPv4 socket_type = dgram protocol = udp wait = yes user = nobody group = tty server = /usr/sbin/in.talkd disable = no } The existence of exe "/usr/sbin/in.talkd" will be tested before we realize that the service is disabled. The better approach would be to parse the whole entry at first to ensure that the syntax is correct and after that test actual values of attributes. This would unfortunately need code rework which I cannot do. It should be moved to stunnel.rpm Then, when the package stunnel.rpm will be uninstalled, it renames /etc/xinetd.d/suucp to /etc/xinetd.d/suucp.rpmsave. Config files with dot in the name are ignored by xinetd.
