[Bug 404997] New: Open Office causes black windows
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=404997 Summary: Open Office causes black windows Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: OpenOffice.org AssignedTo: eward@novell.com ReportedBy: robert_gartler@gmx.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I am using gnome with compiz and emerald (TwinView on two screens). When I use OpenOffice Impress, some windows will turn black. For example amarok (QT) or Oracles SQLDeveloper (java). The strange thing is, that restarting those applications doesn't change anything. If you close OpenOffice those applications will be displayed correctly again (without having to restart them or X). They will also be displayed correclty if you resize them (for amarok you have to make it really tiny to see it again). Other OpenOffice products will also be black (like oowriter). The affected windows don't get black immediately when you start OpenOffice, but after a few minutes. This behavior is reproduceable. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
