[Bug 930309] New: sysconfig-netconfig: wrong name for ntpd.service file in ntp-runtime
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=930309 Bug ID: 930309 Summary: sysconfig-netconfig: wrong name for ntpd.service file in ntp-runtime Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 13.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: janne@rosehip.mine.nu QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I am using a dispatcher script for NetworkManager on my laptops that uses netconfig to update ntp servers from dhcp lease, that script does not work i openSUSE 13.2. In package sysconfig-netconfig-0.83.8-9.1 the file /etc/netconfig.d/ntp-runtime checks ntpd service on line 230 like this: systemctl --quiet is-active ntp.service &>/dev/null The problem is that the systemd service file is now named ntpd.service, in openSUSE 13.1 it was named ntp.service Version of systemd is: 210-25.16.1 Worked around it by creating soft links for old name (ntp.service), but I'd like to see sysconfig-netconfig updated. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
