https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=397431 Summary: Firefox doesn't process ipv6 addresses other than ::1 (localhost) Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox AssignedTo: bnc-team-mozilla@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dsk@bglinux.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Outsourced Testing I have apache server bound to listen for ipv4/6 addresses. When I access htt://[::1] - I can see the index page of my apache. But when I try to access http://[fe80::20c:29ff:fed8:2f8] - firefox does nothing. It actually doesn't even make a request for this address. I don't see "can't connect to page" error or something of that sort. here's an output of netstat -nl|grep 80 tcp 0 0 :::80 :::* LISTEN -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
