[Bug 913588] New: Warbled audio with Kaffeine
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=913588 Bug ID: 913588 Summary: Warbled audio with Kaffeine Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 13.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications Assignee: kde-maintainers@suse.de Reporter: zinser@zinser.no-ip.info QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Example file: http://medien.wdr.de/download/1417172712/kopfball/wdr_fernsehen_kopfball_201... Playing this file with kaffeine (kaffeine-1.2.2-27.1.4.x86_64) on two different desktop systems (hp dc5750 and hp 6200 pro) results in a very distorted audio replay, which can not be understood. Always reproducible with this file. A little further investigation: Same behaviour on a Lenovo W510 Notebook, with openSUSE 13.1 (kaffeine-1.2.2-27.3.x86_64). It does work on the same type notebook with openSUSE 12.1 (kaffeine-1.2.2-12.1.2.x86_64) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

great! if it works fine feel free to submit also to openSUSE:13.2:Update so it gets released as update
Ok, I will do so in the next days, for 13.1 as well if that's ok. Although for this particular file it doesn't really make a difference. This uses H264 for video and AAC for audio, both of which cannot be played without the libxine2-codecs from Packman anyway. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
