Afaik the slim login manager had separate entry to run user's .xinitrc and it didn't interfere with other desktop sessions. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install i3 2. echo ". ~/.xinitrc" > ~/.xsession 3. echo "exec i3" > ~/.xinitrc 4. install login manager (kdm, lxdm, lightdm, etc) and setup the system to use it 5. install a few WM's or DE's (e.g. icewm, kde, gnome, lxde, xfce, fluxbox, etc) 6. run the login manager of choice 7. pick any desktop session at login screen 8. log in Actual Results: i3 session starts every time, instead of selected desktop session Expected Results: Desktop session of choice selected in login manager starts up. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
