It takes about 1 minute and 45 seconds until the OOo Writer comes up after I click on the menu. It doesn't matter if this is the second or third start of OOo. It always takes this long. If an instance of OO is already running, it is amazingly fast to open a new Writer or Calc, or whatever. But staring OO when it is not already running takes ages.
