[Bug 708955] New: No colors in background colour dialogue in LibreOffice Writer
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=708955 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=708955#c0 Summary: No colors in background colour dialogue in LibreOffice Writer Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: michael.eichenberger@stepping-stone.ch QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=442946) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=442946) Screenshot of the Background Colour dialogue. User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0 LibreOffice 3.3.3, OOO330m19 (Build:301), tag libreoffice-3.3.3.1 running on openSUSE 11.4 (Thumbleweed). The background colours of a cell in a LibreOffice Table in a LibreOffice Writer document (odt) can not be changed to any other colour than white. This is true for an existing and a new document. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open an existing LibreOffice Writer document (odt) with a table. 2. Choose a cell and start the Background Colour dialogue. 3. Try an choose a colour. Actual Results: When opening an existing table with background colours, the colours are displayed correctly. When trying to change the background colour of a cell in the table the pop up window appears correctly. But where in the other colour dialogues the colours appear, only white colours are available. This means, I can only set the background colour to white. The "No Fill" has no effekt. The same effekt happens, when creating a new document with a new table. Expected Results: The background colour in a LibreOffice Writer document (odt) of a table should be able to be set via the Background Colour dialogue. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Hi Michael,
I didn't see the problem in libreoffice 3.4.2.2 in either of the new document or an existed document scenario.
Would you try to use the latest build to have a try?
A sample document that having this problem always reproduced might be also helpful. Thanks!
Hi Cedric,
I didn't search out similar bugs in related Bubzillas. The screenshot looks not good, any comments/info on it may help reproduce? Thank you!
I'm sorry, I don't really know, from where to install libreoffice 3.4.2.2. In Yast (with thumbleweed as the repository with highest priority) the most recent version of libreoffice is: 3.3.3.1-2.11-x86_64 Which repository do I need to install? Thank you in advance and kind regards, Michael -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
