I upgraded my Lenovo x200s from openSUSE 11.0 to 11.4 (x86) and I am experiencing this same issue. According to logs, kernel is unable to put some devices down (IIRC, it is a TPM device).
This should be fixed in the latest openSUSE kernel. If it isn't please open a new bug. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Please attach a full bootup dmesg log. Also, hwinfo --all would be helpful. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

This bug is present in current distribution kernel. Should I try some development/test kernel instead? OpenSUSE 11.4 distribution gives now: $ uname -a Linux laptop.jiivee.com 2.6.37.1-1.2-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT 2011-02-21 10:34:10 +0100 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Kernel package is kernel-desktop-2.6.37.1-1.2.2.i586. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
