[Bug 513441] New: zypper up looks broken
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=513441 Summary: zypper up looks broken Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp AssignedTo: zypp-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: aj@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042700 SUSE/3.0.10-1.1.1 Firefox/3.0.10 zypper lu does not show any package updates but zypper lu -a or zypper lu -t patch show updates (and zypper patch does updates). This is inconsistent and AFAIR in the past zypper up showed this. reger:~ # zypper lu -t patch Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... Uh, higher priority like in lower number?
yes
Anyway, it leads to problems if the repo contains a higher version but as a lower priority (higher prio number).
aaah, right, the mozilla package i wrote about was from the 11.1-test-updates repo (99), not from the 'repo-update' (20). So this actually is a dupe of bug 482307, as i initially thought. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 482307 *** http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=482307 -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
