https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=487423 Summary: Gnome Desktop - Add Link to On-Line Wallpapers and Permit Installation of .PNG Wallpapers for Each desktop Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Alpha 0 Platform: PC OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: alpha096@virginbroadband.com.au QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009022800 SUSE/3.0.7-1.1.6 Firefox/3.0.7 The current default sample of Desktop wallpapers is very very poor and the Installation only provides the ability to install .PNG Files from the users HDD. Can we provide a link to install KDE Wallpapers from Internet connection. While we are here can you please provide the ability to have different wallpapers for each desktop. With multiple desktops, they become very difficult to instantly determine what desktop you are in without the user assigning a different wallpaper. Can we also provide a link to gnome themes that contain both suse.de pre-configured themes and user created themes that anyone can save to the on-line available themes. Yes I am aware that KDE themes are of no value here. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: Currently the Default installation only contains aprox 8 very plain wallpapers and the installation option only permits installing a .PNG file from the HDD Expected Results: To be able to link to download KDE wallpapers via the Internet and install a different wallpaper for each desktop if so selected AND To be able to select far more default themes from an online source that also permits users saving custom themes to this Internet source.- I realise we cannot link to KDE themes. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
