From the log it looks fine (just the 4 minutes it takes to suspend and resume are a bit long) and i cannot see any indication why it should not power down on suspend.

One thing you could try is: echo "shutdown method = shutdown" >> /etc/suspend.conf and try if it does power off after suspend to disk, then. Can you just add printks/udelays into kernel-vanilla to see where it reboots? It may make sense to try latest, first...
