It's even flagged as ok by run-crons in /var/log/messages. This seems to be due to the redirection of stderr to /dev/null. The script should NOT fall silently and it should NOT be marked as ok by run-crons, if it fails. Or does the entry of run-crons just mean "I called it, and it finished somehow"?
