Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch Firefox or SeaMonkey from the command line. 2. Visit about:plugins Actual Results: 3. The following is output to the console: [psy@weasel:~]$ firefox *** nss-shared-helper: Shared database disabled (set NSS_USE_SHARED_DB to enable). *** NSPlugin Viewer *** ERROR: /usr/lib/browser-plugins/nphelix.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [psy@weasel:"]$ seamonkey *** NSPlugin Viewer *** ERROR: /usr/lib/browser-plugins/nphelix.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [psy@weasel:/etc/alternatives]$ According to locate, the file nphelix.so doesn't exist anywhere on my system. The command "rpm -qail | fgrep helix" also doesn't return anything relevant. This bug doesn't seem to have any detrimental effect, except that the Mozilla folks are refusing to accept bug reports from afflicted browsers. They always say, "Well, maybe your problem is caused by this nphelix.so message! It looks like nspluginwrapper once installed a wrapper for nphelix.so. Check /usr/lib64/browser-plugins and if there is something which sounds like nphelix you can most likely fix it by calling "nspluginwrapper -a -i" as root.
