The only odd thing is, that /lib/modules/2.6.25.9-0.2-pae/modules.dep was missing afterwards. Maybe this is due to a corrupted filesystem (crash while writing in /lib/modules) or this indicates that the update messed with 2.6.25.9 modules while adding 2.6.25.11 modules. I am runing the machine from a different partition now. Except for the first reboot, this root partition should be unchanged. I am mainly interested to find out, if this was a random crash, or if this is an issue in the kernel update procedures. Is there any more diagnostics I could provide? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
