If you have since removed it, yes, I'm afraid you'll have to re-install. If the problem is that you can't boot into the system, then it will be fine if you could just get /var/log/YaST2/y2log from that partition. If you'll have a lot of food in your plate ATM, I can try to reproduce the issue. Tell me something though, what is the priority of the bug?
