I have seen this problem on several online forums and it hasn't been resolved for those users either. The boot param of megaraid-old is different than megaraid. I found this param online in a forum and it fixed my problem with previous versions just not the 10.3 release. I assumed that you would have access to internal documentation that would allow you to see what the megaraid-old param did. Is it possible that the megaraid-old param told the past installers to use the megaraid legacy driver that you mention? I am not sure of the PCI ID, but here are some more details of the device: American Megatrends Inc. MegaRAID Ultra 2/5 PCI Bios v. 1.48 Firmware GH8E I am pretty sure that it is not the DELL CERC, just because it is a Gateway ALR 8300 server. This happened with the past installers, but then I would boot with the megaraid-old parameter and the drives would show up and I could install. Do you still want my dmesg information to try to fix 10.3?
