Steps to reproduce : 1) We have a script to reboot client on start up. ( Attached tar file containing auto-start script to trigger reboot ). Then, place the tar file in "/" directory and untar it. It should place all files at required directories and reboot client. 2) After few(varies from 20 to 250) reboots system gets hung with following error messages, i2c_designware 808622C1:06: I2C bus managed by PUNIT punit semaphore timed out, resetting i2c_designware 808622C1:06: PUNIT SEM: 0 We are guessing the issue to be in i2c driver for intel cherry trail boards based on few blogs(Found few patches online to fix the issue).
