As soon as one tries to connect to a database server via TCP/IP, rekall crashes without any error message. I installed rekall and start it. But then ever i try to open an table on my mysql-server or open an form, rekall crashed with sig 11. I installed the following rpm's: rekall 2.2.6-60.1, rekall-mysql 2.2.6-60.1, mysql 5.0.26-12. When i start rekall in a terminal window, the last messages are: Finding appropriate python version library .... ... using system python ... using "sys" Loading appropriate python version library .... Locating python version library interface [libkbase_script_pysys.so] KCrash: Application 'rekall' crashing... Maybe the problem isn't a database driver problem. Maybe Python? I have openSUSE 10.2 installed on an Desktop Computer (32-bit) and a Notebook (32-bit). The problem is every time the same. I don't know the reason for the problem, but rekall crashed with SIG 11. I installed Version 2.2.6-46 from my Original DVD ( I have an ABO) It chrashed! SIG 11 I installed Version 2.2.6-60-1 from software.opensuse.org/download/KDE:/Backports/openSUSE_10.2 It crashed! SIG 11 So please tell me, which packages have you installed (32bit or 64bit), so that i can do it the same. Sorry for reopen, but it is not resolved for me. Maybe i do a mistake. i don't know. As shown in Bug 308978 the problem is no solved. This bug was for 10.2 RC5, mine is for 10.2 GM.
