[Bug 248869] New: asterisk-1.2.13-37 : array subscript is below array bounds
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=248869 Summary: asterisk-1.2.13-37 : array subscript is below array bounds Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 1 Platform: All OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dcb314@hotmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de I just tried to build package asterisk-1.2.13-37 with the GNU C compiler 4.3 snapshot 20070223. The compiler said chan_zap.c:3839: warning: array subscript is below array bounds The source code is if (index < 0) return &p->subs[index].f; This looks like broken code. Suggest code rework. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=248869 max@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |WONTFIX ------- Comment #1 from max@novell.com 2007-05-02 10:49 MST ------- This indeeed _is_ broken code, but so broken, uncommented and undocumented, that I have no idea how to fix it. If index really is negative, we already access the subs array with an invalid index in the lines above the cited code snippet. Please report upstream. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
