https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=651108 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=651108#c0 Summary: Changing in KDE to a dark color scheme makes OpenOffice.org unusable Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: OpenOffice.org AssignedTo: bnc-team-ooo@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: spiollinux@alice-dsl.net QAContact: cwei@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; de; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 SUSE/3.6.10-0.3.1 Firefox/3.6.10 If you set a dark color scheme in KDE OpenOffice.org doesn't display the colors correctly, no matter if you have installed openoffice_org-kde or openoffice_org-gnome or none of them or if you have selected to use KDE colors in non KDE programs Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set KDE Color scheme to a dark one (ex. You've selected the colors to be white-on-dark, so you get white on dark. I don't see why an office suite should get an exception.
It's not an exception but it makes OpenOffice.org Writer unusable. A possible solution would be creating an exemption so that OpenOffice uses the default color scheme. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Unusable exactly how?
It looks like at the screenshot i attached, you can't see which font-color you've selected, all documents look very strange -- so you can't really work with it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
